Charge d'affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy in China, Pham Thanh Binh, informed of Vietnam’s achievements last year and praised overseas Vietnamese for being united and contribution to the homeland.

The same day, a ceremony to celebrate the Lunar New Year was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with the attendance of the Khmer-Vietnamese Association, overseas Vietnamese, Vietnamese embassy staff in Phnom Penh and Vietnamese businesses.

Sim Chy, Chairman of the Khmer-Vietnamese Association, said last year despite numerous challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Association communicated and asked overseas Vietnamese there to take measures to protect themselves from the pandemic.
