The deputies asked Minister Anh about the management and regulation of electricity; the planning and development of renewable energy; the promotion and expansion of foreign markets; e-commerce and the digital economy; and the localization of industrial products and technological innovation.

Mr. Anh said Vietnam has integrated deeply into the global market. He said trade agreements and preferential export tariffs give Vietnam a market advantage and enhance Vietnam’s export competitiveness. In order to keep products fraudulently labeled as Vietnamese from enjoying preferential tariffs, Anh said, the Prime Minister has approved a plan to fight origin and other trade fraud and illegal investment conveyance. Anh said: "The government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade are working with agencies and organizations to combat origin and other trade fraud, which harms Vietnam’s prestige and economy."
