(VOVWORLD) - OPEC, Russia and their allies have formally agreed to extend through March their oil output cut deal signed in Algeria last year.

At an OPEC meeting in Vienna late Monday, Russia agreed to reduce output by 228,000 barrels per day from October levels, which means Moscow will have to maintain an output of some 11.18 million barrels per day.
