(VOVworld) – The Communist Party online newspaper and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held an online exchange with readers on the role of culture in society in Hanoi on Friday. Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien answered questions concerning achievements and limitations during the 15 years of implementing the party resolution on building Vietnamese culture. He said: “The resolution has had a strong impact on society. It proposed long-term strategic plans to promote and develop Vietnamese culture.”

Hundreds of questions were sent to the organizing board relating to a number of issues including the role of culture in development, the institutionalization of culture policies, and heritage management.
