Afterwards, both Prime Ministers held talks. This is the first official visit to Luxembourg by Prime Minister Chinh and also the first high-level visit in the past 10 years.
Luxembourg is the third largest EU investor in Vietnam with investment capital totaling 2.6 billion USD and one of the EU countries that early ratified the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA).
PM Chinh's trip is expected to reinforce the friendship and cooperation with Luxembourg and expand cooperation in such fields as pharmaceutical technology and logistics. The two countries are preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations, an opportunity to jointly bring relationship to a new stage of development.
