The cold weather is forecast to hit the region from the evening of Wednesday, thereby bringing with it rain and a drop in temperatures.

Hanoi is set to endure a long spell of rain, with temperatures falling below 17 degrees Celsius.

Similar weather conditions are expected to hit north central provinces, all of which are anticipated to endure a period of low temperatures and downpours.

As a result of this, local people will feel the cold at night and early in the morning, with the national weather forecast authority reminding residents to take proper measures to protect their health amid the increasingly cold air.
