North Korea: US refuses to drop hostile policy

(VOVWORLD) - Korean Central News Agency said on Monday that US will not drop its hostile policy “no matter how excellent and firm the relationship” their two leaders have.

A North Korean official responsible for the negotiations criticized US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for advocating continuous pressure on Pyongyang while calling for dialogues, saying he was undermining North Korea's willingness to return to negotiations.

Pyongyang’s new point-man on negotiations said that North Korea will take its "own way" as the denuclearization negotiations remained stalled, warning the US to not provoke North Korea to avoid unfortunate consequences.
