According to a statement via the Korean Central News Agency, North Korea is not interested in any dialogue with the US as long as Washington pursues a hostile policy toward the North.

The statement was released a couple of hours after South Korea and the US on Wednesday staged combined air drills over the Yellow Sea - located between China and the Korean peninsula. The drill involved a B-1B strategic bomber and F-22 and F-35B stealth fighters from the US Air Force.

US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield said the US will continue to work with other members of the UN Security Council to hold North Korea accountable for its missile provocations.
