The Rodong Sinmun, the North's main newspaper, wrote that Washington does not understand that the North's nuclear and missile programs have changed its strategic status as shown by the latest success of an intercontinental ballistic missile test.
It affirmed that the only action available for the US is to withdraw what it says is their anachronistic hostile policy toward North Korea. While both Koreas are celebrating the armistice, there is suspicion that the North is preparing another ballistic missile launch.
