They analyzed the impacts of Brexit in order to come up with appropriate measures to minimize any negative effects. The Latin-American situation was also on the agenda, including the signing of a ceasefire between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and cooperation among Central American countries to combat violence and crime.

US, Mexican, and Canadian leaders signed a trilateral agreement on the environment with a commitment to reduce methane emissions between 40 to 45% and produce 50% of their electricity from clean energy by 2025.
