No new Covid-19 cases reported in Vietnam since February 13

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has reported no new confirmed cases of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) since February 13, according to a meeting of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 response in Hanoi on Friday.

Healthcare facilities at district level and higher levels are capable of treating Covid-19 patients, participants said. 15 of the 16 confirmed cases in Vietnam have been cured and discharged from hospital.

Vietnam still has 28 suspected cases and more than 5,600 people in close contact with those who may have the virus or those returning from epidemic areas. All of them are under quarantine.
