Addressing the celebration, Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Vo Van Thuong called on Ninh Binh to effectively capitalize on its potential, strengths and specific characteristics, especially its geographical advantage: a location that connects the Northern, Central and Northwest regions and in the economic growth quadrangle Hanoi-Hai Phong-Quang Ninh-Thanh Hoa.
He said Ninh Binh needs to continue to strongly shift its economic structure towards rational development combined with environmental protection for sustainable development.

“Promoting the homeland tradition, the thousand-year-old ancient capital of Hoa Lu and the achievements after 30 years of re-establishing the province, the Party Committee, administration, and people of Ninh Binh province continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, the ancient capital’s pride, and creativity with new mindset and new vision. The Party Committee, administration, and people of Ninh Binh are determined to develop Ninh Binh sustainably into a rich and beautiful province, contributing to the nation’s successful realization of the goal of justice, democracy and civilization," Mr. Thuong said.
