(VOVworld) - Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said Monday there is no evidence linking the Islamic State (IS) to the Tunisian truck driver Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel who carried out the Nice attack, despite the IS’s claim of responsibility.

The attacker’s computer records did show a recent interest in radical jihadist movements. French investigators identified 31-year-old Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel as the person who drove a truck into crowds celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, killing 84 people and injuring 100 others.
