New COVID-19 cases drop, no deaths in 24 hours

(VOVWORLD) - From 4:00 p.m. on Thursday to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, the National COVID-19 Case Management System recorded 2,227 new infections, of which 1 was imported and 2,226 cases were recorded domestically, a decrease of more than 1,700 cases compared to the previous day in 53 out of 63 provinces and cities.

9,065 recoveries were reported during the day, raising the total number of recoveries to more than 9.3 million cases. In the past 24 hours, Vietnam has not recorded a death from COVID-19.
