The President Phuc presented the team and their head coach with the First Class Labor Order. Some other players were awarded the Second Class and the Third Class Labor Order.
After the Vietnamese girls’ historic wins against Thailand on February 2 and Chinese Taipei on February 6 in play-off matches of the 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup, securing a place in the World Cup for the first time, President Phuc commended coach Mai Duc Chung and the team for their victory.
