The article emphasizes that 95 years ago, under the leadership of the Party, the Anti-Imperialist Alliance was established on November 18, 1930, becoming the first organization of the Vietnam National United Front. In any period, the Front’s core principle is to unite the people for the common goal of national independence and prosperity and happiness of the people.

Today, the great lesson of national unity remains relevant. Unity is a source of great internal strength, a fulcrum for the country to overcome all challenges and move forward steadily on the path of renewal and integration. The General Secretary said top priority must be given to consolidating and promoting the strength of great solidarity, considering it a key factor to steer the country into a new era of development.

Every cadre and party member must truly set an example, put the interests of the nation and people first and foremost; resolutely fight to defeat all plots, methods and tricks of hostile forces that aim to divide the solidarity bloc, the Party leader added. He called for improving the life and protecting the legitimate rights of the people, while reforming operation of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations, focusing on the grassroots and taking the people as the center of service.

On the other hand, great solidarity is not only limited to the national scope but needs to be expanded to the international level. Thereby, Vietnam can gain the support of international friends, creating a favorable environment for national construction and defense. It’s necessary to strengthen unity between the Vietnamese people and people of other countries, especially with peace-loving and progressive forces in the world.

The article concludes that in the face of intertwined opportunities and challenges, unity is the source of will, belief and strength to achieve the goal of building a strong, prosperous Vietnam with happy people.
