The opening ceremony of the National Tourism Year 2019 and Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2019

Under the theme “Nha Trang - Colour of the Sea’, the National Tourism Year 2019 will feature 110 cultural, sports and tourism events, and seminars.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam told the ceremony that the tourism sector has great potential to develop thanks to Vietnam's beautiful nature and diverse cultures. “In order to turn tourism into a spearhead economic sector, it’s necessary to fine tune policies on tourism promotion, immigration, construction, human resource training, security, environmental protection, food safety, and cultural preservation. All people should be involved in building a safe and friendly environment for tourism development.”

Khanh Hoa province expects to welcome 150,000 visitors during the Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival Week.
