Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha called on broadcasters promote creativity to meet the needs of national development and the audience.
“More than ever, Vietnamese journalists need to be aware of their responsibility as emissaries of Vietnam's soft power to bring the cultural values of "truth-goodness-beauty" to domestic and international audiences, contributing to enhancing the national strength. On the one hand, journalists need to contribute to preserving the national culture and building new Vietnamese personality in the digital era, digital society and digital culture. On the other hand, Vietnamese culture, brands and products should be promoted to the world," Ha said.
This year’s National Television Festival received 700 works from 96 participating TV stations. The next Festival will be held in 2025.
