The Festival will be co-organized by the Vietnam Journalists’ Association and the Hanoi People’s Committee in collaboration with the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The National Press Festival will promote journalism and encourage the press to better perform its tasks to meet the public’s demand for information.

Tran Thi Kim Hoa, deputy head of the organizing board, said: “Criteria for the Press Festival are unity, professionalism, modernity, and humanity. We have specifically designed programs and contents. The Festival is expected to attract a  number of journalists, media agencies, and visitors.”

There will be a display to mark 100 years of Le Paria, a forum entitled “Today’s issue: Digitalization”, a talk show on humanity in press, and award ceremony for the most impressive New Year’s newspapers, online newspapers, and radio and television programs.
