Addressing the opening ceremony, Tran Minh Hung, Vice President of the Voice of Vietnam and head of the organizing board, said that since 2017 VOV has worked with the Vietnam Football Federation in organizing the futsal tournaments.

“VOV, VFF, and Dak Lak People's Committee pledge to make the Futsal National Tournament 2021 a success with professional quality and organization, and leaving a deep impression on fans in the Central Highlands and the whole country. We hope the tournament will continue to motivate young players nationwide to continue to practice thus making Futsal more popular to the public,” said Mr. Hung.
