Director of the Communications Department of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education Dinh Thi Mai told a press conference in Hanoi on Friday: “As time goes by, it’s more important to improve communications and education of history and tradition to cadres, Party members, and youth."

She said "the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education has consulted the Politburo and the Secretariat to organize a national conference for the 1950 Autumn Winter Border Victory. It’s part of the national communication campaign to mark historical events and victories in national resistance wars.”

The national conference on the 1950 Autumn Winter Border Victory, to be held for the first time, affirms the  precise and creative leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, and honors the creativity and self-reliance of  Vietnamese people and soldiers in national defense.
