In an interview with the Vietnam News Agency, Ngan said 2021 is a transitional year between two tenures and the first year of implementing the 13th National Party Congress resolution, the 10-year socio-economic development strategy until 2030, and the 5-year socio-economic development plan until 2025.
This year, Vietnam will review the 14th National Assembly’s operation and elect deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.
Ngan asked all Vietnamese people inside and outside Vietnam to show solidarity and face together the challenges of developing Vietnam. She invited suggestions for improving the National Assembly’s performance.
