National Assembly Chairwoman calls for better future for children

(VOVWORLD) -300 disadvantaged children received gifts from a program jointly held by the Vietnam Television and the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union in Hanoi on Sunday night on the occasion of Mid-autumn festival.

Addressing the event, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan praised the efforts of organizers and donors to run the program over the past 10 years. She said “Children are happiness of each family and the future of a country. Such meaningful program will help raise the awareness and responsibility of families, schools, and social communities in child care, protection, and education. Let’s save the best for our children to learn and play in a healthy environment and nurture the future generations of the nation by doing good deeds like this program.”

On the occasion of Mid-autumn festival, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh has delivered nearly 100 gifts and money to children with disabilities in Hanoi.
