(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung on Tuesday received ambassadors and chief representatives of Vietnamese agencies abroad for the 2013-2016 term.

Hung congratulated them on their appointments and asked them to lobby for international assistance to Vietnam politically and financially as well as contributing to its process of international integration and development. Hung also asked the diplomats to support overseas Vietnamese and businesses in their lives and work. The chief legislator stated that the diplomats should cooperate with the National Assembly Office and Committee for External Relations to boost parliamentary relations and establish ties with friendly parliamentarians’ groups in the countries of their mandate.
