The meeting was chaired by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov with the participation of NAM’s 54 member countries. Delegates approved a joint statement re-affirming the principle of the Non-Aligned Movement and The UN Charter, emphasizing on equal and efficient access of COVID-19 vaccine and medicines.

The NAM Member States extend their firm support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and express their solidarity with the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the principled position of NAM.
