Mr. Ty made the statement during a meeting with officials of the Vietnamese permanent mission to the United Nations and Vietnam’s representative offices in New York this week.

He asked Vietnamese representative offices to update and study the host country’s commercial policies to submit appropriate responses to the legislature.

Meeting several US friends, Mr. Ty recalled important milestones in the relations between Vietnam and the US.

US friends, in turn, offered proposals helping Vietnam carry out strategies related to the bilateral ties.

On Friday, the NA Vice Chairman wrapped up his week-long working visit to the US.
