Under the economic restructuring plan until 2025, Vietnam intends to change the growth model to greater productivity, quality, and competitiveness.

The Government plans to improve resource-use efficiency, economy self-reliance and adaptability to develop a science technology-based economy, promote innovation, and ensure sustainable development.

The Government plans to step up institution reform to encourage greater use of technology and better social resource allocation in sectors that have a competitive edge and high productivity.
