With 434 votes for, the National Assembly approved a resolution appointing Ms. Dao Hong Lan, Member of the Party Central Committee and Acting Minister of Health, to hold the position of Minister of Health for the 2021-2026 term.

The Assembly approved the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, as Minister of Transport for the 2021-2026 term.

State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan, born in 1971, has experienced different positions, including Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, Secretary of Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, and Deputy State Auditor General in charge of State Auditing.

Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan, born in 1971, served as Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang, born in 1973, served as Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee.
