National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan presented gifts to poor people in Tien Giang province

She appreciated the province’s achievements in social-economic development and national defense last year, which are favorable conditions for it to obtain higher results in the coming years. She called on local authorities to continue taking care of policy beneficiaries, poor households and people who made contributions to the nation.

Mrs. Ngan attended a Tet celebration for poor people and Agent Orange/ Dioxin  victims organized by the Vietnam Red Cross Society, Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, and the Fund for Children.
