NA Chairwoman hails humanitarian values of Spring program for border people

(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan appreciated humanitarian activities of the 2020 Spring program for border people such as giving them warm clothes, cows, and Tet gifts, offering them free medical checkups and treatment, and organizing cultural and sport events in line with local customs.

The 2020 Spring program for border people was held at Krong Na commune, Buon Don district, Dak Lak province on Tuesday. 

Mrs. Ngan expressed her belief that Dak Lak province will make full use of the State policies for socio-economic development in ethnic and mountainous communities and promote local advantages and potentials for political stability, economic development, strong national defense, and people’s wealth-off.

 Mrs Ngan gave 400 gifts to social beneficiary and poor families and 100 scholarships to disadvantaged children having good academic results.
