(VOVworld) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan began a 2-day official friendship visit to Laos on Monday.

The visit aims to enhance the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the Parties, states, and peoples of Vietnam and Laos.

After Laos, Ms. Ngan will pay a 2-day official friendship visit to Cambodia from Tuesday and Myanmar from Wednesday. In Myanmar, she will attend the 37th ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) from Wednesday until Sunday in Nay Pyi Taw.
