The same day, Chairman Hue held talks with the Speaker of the Philippine House of Representatives, during which a new Resolution on promoting Vietnam-Philippines relations, and a decision to establish the Philippines-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Group will be announced.

During his visit, Chairman Hue will meet with senior Philippine leaders, business representatives, and members of the Vietnamese community in the Philippines, and will attend the Economic Cooperation Forum and visit the Vietnamese Embassy.

Mr Hue’s visit will deepen the Vietnam-Philippines strategic partnership and boost ties between the two legislatures amid complicated regional and global developments.
