Speaking at the event on Friday, Chairman Hue asked for mobilization of all resources to ensure successful implementation of eco-agricultural, modern rural areas and smart farmers’ strategy towards rural economy development and urbanization.

He said that new models of collective farming and supply chain connectivity between production, processing and distribution should be promoted together with regional connectivity and maritime economy.

This will turn Tra Vinh province into one of key maritime economic development province of the Mekong Delta, a province of new rural area by 2025 with top economic development rankings in the Mekong Delta by 2030.
