He emphasized that last week’s 4th plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee made momentous decisions, including the policy of studying and operating fiscal policy in a flexible and effective manner, creating resources to ensure macroeconomic stability and major balances of the economy. This will help restore production and business, circulate goods, create jobs, promote exports and domestic consumption, and boost both public and private investment, Mr. Hue said.

National Assembly Chairman Hue requested the National Assembly's Committees to actively coordinate with Government agencies to make sure that fiscal and monetary policy will effectively serve the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic, social security, and economic recovery and development.
