Deputies raised questions on urban planning and development, housing for low-income people and workers in industrial zones. The Minister proposed solutions to promote social housing market and more affordable housing prices:

Mr. Nghi said: "The legal framework on social housing must be improved to ensure sufficient supply. Amendments are required for the laws on housing, investment and urban planning while relating standards and regulations must be strengthened. At least 1 million houses for low-income people and workers must be built. Provinces should continue to reform administrative procedures, ensure land spaces for social housing and address challenges facing businesses”.

The Minister clarified issues in real estate market management, material costs and supplies for construction projects and remedies against misconducts in real estate businesses.
