The theatrical play has attracted local people, many of them from the central province of Nghệ An where Truong Bon revolutionary victory took place. Nguyen Van Linh, a border guard from Long An province, told VOV: “Plays like this really help young people know history. The play has shown optimism in grim situation and praised our predecessors' endless efforts to over come difficulties for today peace.”
The play was scripted by Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky, VOV President, as a meaningful present to Long An province to mark the 44th anniversary of southern liberation and national unification on April 30.
