(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh has asked ministries to fine tune poverty reduction policies towards sustainability.

Speaking at a meeting by the Central Steering Committee on Sustainable Poverty Reduction, the Deputy Prime Minister said more policies and efforts should be focused on disadvantaged areas and ethnic people to facilitate poor people escape from poverty and integrate with the community. He said a multi-dimensional approach should be applied in new poverty standard development to achieve the target of 2% poverty reduction rate annually.
