The portal, citing experts of the Mosprom Center at the Moscow municipal Department for Investment and Industrial Policy, forecast that in the next five years Vietnam will become one of the most dynamic markets in Asia-Pacific. They said the signing of a free trade agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union, of which Russia is a member, has promoted bilateral trade, especially in e-commerce, facilitated public procurement, and protected intellectual property and competition.

According to the Interfax news agency, during a meeting with Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi, Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the Russia President, said he believes there is room for bilateral trade and investment to grow. He applauded Vietnam’s opening of its border to Russian tourists and the approval of Russia’s SputnikV COVID-19 vaccine.
