Peskov said Russia's plans can’t be changed by any reaction. The President explained everything in his statements during an interview on Saturday. There is nothing to add to that.

Putin said last Saturday that Moscow and Minsk agree on the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.

This was a response to the UK's decision to give Ukraine ammunition containing depleted uranium, Putin said, adding that Russia is doing what the US has been doing for decades, and is not violating its obligations under the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

The deployment of Russian tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus is expected to be completed by July 1.

Ukraine called for a UN Security Council meeting on this issue, which Germany called a “threat of attack.”

Russia's actions pose a threat to EU security and the EU is ready to respond with further sanctions, said Josep Borrell, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

Russia and Belarus signed 13 documents on Monday to strengthen cooperation in space exploration, microelectronics technology, border security, and customs.
