The city has also set up a 1,000-bed field hospital at its Oncology Hospital 2 to treat severe coronavirus patients, according to a meeting of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Sunday. 

The same day, the agriculture and trade ministries pledged sufficient supply of goods and other daily necessities for HCM city and other localities which are imposing social distancing under Directive 16.
