(VOVWORLD) - The UN Security Council Sanctions Committee on North Korea has expanded the list of dual-use weapons which will be completely banned to supply, trade or transfer to Pyongyang.

The decision is based on a resolution that the UN Security Council adopted last month after North Korea’s test of Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). The list which was submitted to the UN Secretariat on September 5, will add more popular dual-use weapons to the one the committee submitted to the UN Security Council last December.

The same day, the South Korean National Intelligence Service (NIS) reported that Pyongyang is changing the arrangement of jet fighters and enhancement of the protection of coastline following the US’ deployment of strategic bombers near North Korea’s eastern coast last Saturday.

Chairman of the Intelligence Committee of the South Korean Parliament Lee Cheol-woo said North Korea seems to be careful not to cause more sudden military clashes along the road border.
