(VOVworld) - The Maius Philharmonic Youth Orchestra won the first-ever sponsorship by the International Monsoon Music Festival for their album inspired by traditional Vietnamese music.

The festival’s Director Nguyen Quoc Trung made the announcement in Hanoi on Wednesday, adding that the art sponsorship project is a program to foster young talented Vietnamese artists by inviting them to perform on the opening day of the annual Monsoon Music Festival.

The organizing board will provide consultancy and support for participing artists in selecting, practicing, and producing their music.

Maius Philharmonic, formally known as Rhapsody Philharmonic, made its official debut at the 2015 International Monsoon Music Festival on Thursday.
