The organisers said they are staying in Puerto Rico to crown the new Miss World on March 16, 2022.

Contestants from 98 countries had been camped for four weeks.
But a day before coronation night on Dec.16, Puerto Rican health authorities confirmed 17 people involved with the pageant had tested positive for COVID-19.
The contestants with negative test results returned home to continue their work.
With this latest announcement, they will meet again in March 2022 in their journey to the Miss World 2021 crown.
