In his remarks, PM Chinh praised the Ministry's efforts to prevent corruption and build a clean and strong political system which contributes to heightening Vietnam’s reputation in lawmaking.

He asked the Ministry of Justice and its agencies to work harder to meet people’s growing need for better judicial environment, and learn from practices to build a socialist democracy and a socialist law-governed state.

The PM stressed that law building is among three strategic breakthroughs set by the Communist Party of Vietnam since its 11th National Congress in 2011, with the motto of making the people and enterprises the centre and the subject in law building and law enforcement.

The MoJ was also tasked to invest more resources in institutional building and view it as an investment for development, he said.
