Mekong River Commission holds 2nd regional consultation on Pak Beng hydropower dam

(VOVWORLD) - The Mekong River Commission held its 2nd round of a consultation process in Vientiane, Laos, on Friday on the construction of the Pak Beng hydropower dam in the mainstream of the river.

Mekong River Commissioner Pham Tuan Phan and representatives from member commissions in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand as well as partners and civil organizations shared opinions on preliminary technical reviews of the project by the commission secretariat and related information.
