Meeting of full-time National Assembly deputies discusses what to be submitted to NA session

(VOVWORLD) -The National Assembly Standing Committee on Wednesday held a meeting of full-time deputies to discuss a number of issues to be submitted to the Assembly’s fifth session. President Vo Van Thuong attended the meeting.

In the opening speech, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that at the upcoming session, law making will be a key task with major draft laws to be considered and passed. The number of bills submitted for consideration and approval for the first time is expected to be twice as high as at other sessions.

Mr. Hue said the three-day meeting of full-time National Assembly deputies aims to improve the quality of laws and shorten the duration of the formal sessions.
