The celebrations include a national meeting involving 3,500 people and a TV link spanning Hanoi, HCM city and Quang Tri and Thai Nguyen provinces.
“July is a special month for Vietnam. It’s a time to pay tribute to those who have rendered great services to the nation and relatives of martyrs,” Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung elaborated.
On the occasion, more than 250 individuals and groups in Hanoi have been honored in recognition of their involvement in "showing gratitude" campaigns.
