At the meeting, Nguyen Van Danh, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, briefed the guests on local economic potential, culture and history as well as cooperation opportunities in key fields.

The Lao Deputy PM said his visit aims to consolidate the traditional friendship between the two nations, including Tien Giang. He also showed his interest in the cooperation potential between Tien Giang and Lao localities, particularly in agriculture and ecotourism development, hoping that the locality will tap the potential in the future.
