This is the province’s 17th site recognized as a national relic site by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. Thien Long cave, also known as “Dragon cave”, in Nhìu Cồ Ván hamlet, Tả Văn Chư commune, more than 1,000 meters above sea level, is a huge cave located deep in Dragon Mountain. The 470-meter-wide cave has primitive beauty, large stalactites, and three different levels. It is a link in a tourist chain from Sa Pa town and Lao Cai city to Bac Ha district.
