Overseas Vietnamese representatives will continue to help Lai Chau and its enterprises enter into collaboration with partners in other countries, said Hieu.
Workshop participants were given information about Lai Chau’s tea growing areas, production methods, and marketing plans. Tea products, particularly the black tea preferred by customers in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, were introduced.
Now that the COVID-19 pandemic is under control, tea producers and exporters need to resume direct promotion and brand building, diversify their products to meet the demands of specific markets, and get embassies and trade groups to help Lai Chau businesses access markets in other regions.
